Le Château
History
The Château de Pourtalès was built in 1750 on the foundations of the country house belonging to the Bussière family, a wealthy family of industrialists from Strasbourg.
Harald and Ulrike Leibrecht took over the château in 2007 and continued to renovate and expand it. In 2009, the travel agency Destination joined the project and the main building and outbuildings (“Le Chalet”) were converted into a hotel.
In November 2019, the new building “Le Parc” was completed. It complements the existing hotel facilities with a total of 48 rooms and a contemporary 240 m² event room.

We are an international team, where everyone gives their best, and we want to share with you our enthusiasm for this magnificent region of Alsace and its rich heritage.
